Welcome to BMUN 72!

Hi everyone!


Welcome to HASEAN 72! My name is Darren Lee, and I'm excited to be your head-chair for this upcoming conference this March. As of right now, I am a senior at Berkeley studying Business Administration. I was born in Sydney, Australia, and grew up there for eight years before immigrating to Jakarta, Indonesia, which I now call home. I'm a big fan of Formula 1, a competitive swimmer, and a major advocate of good Phở.

Joining MUN in high school was one of the best decisions of my life, I got the chance to not only travel Indonesia but also travel across Asia too. Besides getting to travel, it gave me a place to meet new friends and most importantly develop new, valuable academic skills. Skills like being able to speak in front of hundreds of people, write up speeches in seconds, and research policies up to a big, thick binder level. All skills that I am confident all of you will develop during our time together! I'm looking forward to seeing all of you in March! Good luck with your prep!
